The Cat^® Rental Store is pleased to offer Rental Equipment Protection (REP) for your next rental.

Rental Equipment Protection (REP) coverage is an extension of Ohio Cat’s coverage. It shields you from being held responsible for most causes of damage to equipment you are renting. In the event of a loss, REP will cover the replacement or repair of the damaged equipment.

Examples of covered damage or loss include:

Accidental Damage	Collision	Vandalism
Tornado	Hail	Theft
Fire	Flood	Overturns
Falling Objects	Wind	Other Non-Excluded Perils

I already have rental insurance, do I need REP?

REP is separate from your own equipment coverage. Any claims that you have will not affect your property and casualty premiums. REP also stayed in effect for the entirety of your rental.

What is the deductible for REP?

$1,000 deductible for machines valued up to $25,000 or
$2,500 deductible for machines valued over $25,000

Deductibles are applied per machine rented.

What should I do if my equipment is damaged?

Contact your Ohio Cat Rental Coordinator immediately! Failure to report serious damage could invalidate the REP agreement.

How do I sign up for REP?

Tell your Cat Rental Store Rental Coordinator that you are interested in Rental Equipment Protection coverage. Your coordinator will take care of the rest!
