Customers have asked for a new tool to manage their fleets. We’ve heard, “Rental is 20% of our fleet and it changes every day. I need one place that I can go to and view everything we have on rent and manage our fleet without having to call somebody.” Now, with the Cat® Customer Portal, you’ll be able to log in and manage your equipment on rent, quickly and easily, any time of day.
The Cat Customer Portal is a Caterpillar website that serves as a place to gain information relating to your business with Cat equipment and products from Ohio Cat or your equipment rentals from several dealers if you operate in multiple Cat Dealer regions. In addition, the portal will provide self-service access to several tools and reports to help you maintain, monitor, and operate your equipment, as well as provide a knowledge base of advice and tools.
A few of the features supporting rental machines include:
• Current and past rental contracts
• Currently rented equipment
• Rental spend breakdown by invoice
• Rental call off
The portal is in final testing and will be released soon. Once it is set up for your business to use, you will receive an invitation to begin using the portal. Stay Tuned!
