Ohio CAT was founded in 1945 and acquired by the Taylor family. The current President, Ken Taylor, is actively involved in the day-to-day operations as the third-generation owner. Just as in 1945, Ohio CAT is an authorized Caterpillar dealer, among approximately 50 Cat® Dealers in North America.  However, being a Cat dealer today is more than selling, renting, and servicing a few tractors, track loaders, and motor graders—Caterpillar now produces over 300 machine models, more than 500 types of engines, financial products, and a growing array of technologies to help customer manage their  equipment to be more efficient and more profitable.

As a result of innovation, growth and change, we have become a Cat Dealer with an Equipment Division, Power Systems Division, Agricultural Division, Con/Agg Division, Hydraulics Division, Fuel Systems Remanufacturing Division and a leasing company.  The Cat Rental Store is a part of the Equipment Division of Ohio CAT, yet customers benefit from the resources of multiple divisions to provide the one-stop shop experience.  It is through our history and our broad equipment solutions for many industries which allows our customers comfort in finding simple solutions with Ohio Cat and The Cat Rental Store.
